Yuan Meng made her junior international debut in 2013. In 2015, she represented the junior team again. Meng returned to the national team in 2016. Following a five–year hiatus from the national team, Meng returned to the squad once again in 2022. She made appearances during [[2021-22 Women's FIH Pro League|season three]] of the [[Women's FIH Pro League|FIH Pro League]], as well as the [[2022 Women's FIH Hockey World Cup|FIH World Cup]] held in [[Terrassa]] and [[Amsterdam]].<ref name="FIH"/>
