In February 2021, Janssen debuted for the [[New Zealand men's national basketball team|New Zealand Tall Blacks]] in a [[2022 FIBA Asia Cup qualification|FIBA Asia Cup qualifier]] in Cairns against [[Australia men's national basketball team|Australia]].
