I'm not sure if my message "*****" lost in the hustle and bustle of the talk page, but I've proposed new content which I think balances out concerns we've had with the Universal Classic Monsters article. Basically new sources have come available and the conversation has brought new material to the table that addresses a large chunk of viewing these characters as a franchise from a more serious angle. I've written a basic draft here and normally would just add it to the article, but as I'm being watched on [[WP:OWN]] etc, I want to clear the air and have others take a look at the draft first before I edit it in.
