Hi Aaron, Concerning the photo on the Jendia Gammon page: one of my Facebook friends has a picture of her he took himself at a bookshop reading. He doesn't have a wiki account, though. If he gives me the rights to the picture, "*****" I allowed to upload it and use it on the page, please? --ArthurTheGardener (talk) 14:58, 5 May 2024 (UTC)Hi Aaron, Concerning the photo on the Jendia Gammon page: one of my Facebook friends has a picture of her he took himself at a bookshop reading. :That depends. According to c:Commons:photographs of identifiable people, photographs of identifiable people only don't require their permission if it was taken at a public place. pbSo yeah, you're probably allowed to, unless the bookshop reading took place at a private place. You can ask your friend if he would like to publish under CC-BY-SA 4.0, then upload the image yourself as a freely-licensed file, and put your friend's name as the author.
