Joshua Williams was born in Queens, NY, on October 25th, He grew up in the projects called latimer gardens, the family aint have had everything but momma 29 always made sure the family ate and before music 29 used to wanna become a professional basketball player but didnt chase that due to a injury. In 2020 covid started and 29 was in the crib doing nothing due to covid and one night he remembered he always loved music and even seen his brother make music for a short span of time and then he started to make music

29 was always into music at an early age. While growing up in Brooklyn, 29 always wanted to rap, And was inspired by many artists such as Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Pierre Bourne and others. But it wasn’t until 2020, that he finally started writing and recording his own music using his phone and headphones in his closet. On April 19, he released his first song, "Fast". At first, he didn't take it seriously, but after gaining attention with his song "Darkness" on June 3rd, 2022 29 would drop his first project titled “To Planet Purple” when he first track “iNTRO”
using the limerence beat by Yves Tumor became popular due to the uplifting words he said in the track he started to see the potential in his music way more. And created his own wave,
